![]() ![]() My husband had the eggs and he said they were also really good. If you are gluten-free, vegan, or both this is definitely the spot you are looking for. I also have to add that their coffee is fantastic. Both cookies were great, but the chocolate chip cookie was sensational. If it was this good lukewarm (my fault, not theirs), I'm sure it is amazing when it is hot! I also had a gluten-free and vegan chocolate chip cookie, and a snickerdoodle type cookie on the second visit. It ended up being a breakfast scramble, with a rich aioli on top. On one of those days, I also bought the vegan burrito without the tortilla, and packed it along for lunch. Both bowls had a sumptuous crunchy granola and nuts on top, each different. I had a different smoothie bowl each time: one had beet in it (do not doubt me), and one was a chocolate almond with delicious gobs of dates in it. I visited Chicago twice in the last couple of months, and I went to LYFE Kitchen both times. Overall, I would most likely go back as I did like the vibes of a girl's date. Our server was extremely nice and attentive and gave us time to look over the menu before making decisions on food. I got a mimosa to drink, and I would not get one again because it was extremely expensive for no reason! Got the 9oz poor and it was like $21. I also got a side of fries which were tasty because they were shoestring style which is my favorite. It was good but kinda messy and nothing to RAVE about. I am not as adventurous when it comes to breakfast, so I got the breakfast sandwich with sausage and mayo. 3 of my friends got dishes off the Mexican food portion of the menu, and they loved it. If you like Mexican breakfast this place could be for you. I am rating this a 4 for the ambiance, as the decor was so cute and the open concept of the ceiling made the lighting so amazing, but if I was rating just for the food, I would do a 3 because it was good but nothing extremely special. Went to brunch with some girlfriends yesterday and it was a very nice time!
